Funded Trading Plus has been making waves in the wonderful world of forex trading since December 2021, the brainchild of one Simon Massey (CEO).
Mr Massey initially embarked on a career as a first responder in the emergency services but, after ten years of serving on the frontline, he decided it wasn’t the career path for him… and thus his interest in forex was sparked.
Talking to a close friend and retail trader gave him the food for thought he needed to start looking into forex and, a few short years later, he decided to leave his emergency services job and start trading full time.
But it wasn’t just the trading that excited and intrigued him. Simon was also keen to help and mentor those who wanted to forge a similar path – and so Trade Room Plus was born. The next logical step from here was to set up a prop trading firm, an upgrade to the Trade Room Plus service and one of the top live trade rooms in the UK.
1. Prop Firm Programs
What makes Funded Trading Plus a particularly good option for traders, both novice and experienced alike, is that it’s run by actual trading instructors who themselves trade for a living… and very successfully into the bargain.
It’s great to see those behind the scenes really putting their money where their mouths are and working to help people to achieve similar results, no doubt a huge part of the appeal of this particular firm.
Another big benefit of Funded Trading Plus is that they strive to match highly skilled traders with the capital they need in order to trade effectively… important, since many traders are unable to see the returns they want because they’re hindered by a lack of financial resources.
Funded Trading Plus allows traders to set up initial accounts of $12,500 up to $200,000, which can then be scaled up to $2,500,000. You can choose between a single evaluation phase, two evaluation phases or immediate funding and you’ll be paid up to 90% of the splits once you’ve completed the evaluation successfully.
2. Trading Rules & Environment
There are three different trading programmes available. The Experienced Trader account consists of a single phase and has no time restrictions, with traders eligible for a profit share of 80% (although this can go up to 90%). The Advanced Trader account is a two-phase assessment programme that also comes with no time restrictions, with traders eligible for a profit share of 80% (with the potential for this to increase to 90%) and profit goals of 10% for phase one and 5% for phase two.
And the Master Trader account doesn’t require an evaluation at all, which suggests you’ll be able to receive immediate funding. A profit share of 70% is available (with the potential to increase to 90%) and with no predetermined profit goal. There is a relative drawdown set at 5%, however.
3. Conclusion
Conclusion? This is a solid choice of prop firm for those new to trading because of the opportunity to obtain immediate funding, but it’s also a great option for more experienced traders who want to drive serious profits their way.
Note that although the price does seem quite high, your profit share will also be higher than what you’ll be offered by other instant funding prop firms… which could make this the perfect prop firm for you.
